Meet recertification requirements with quality content
The JEMS Training continuing education and refresher courses are the highest-rated in the industry and we’re working tirelessly to ensure that you’re able to not only be getting insights from your most respected instructors but are also able to meet your recertification requirements – no matter where you are.
As each state operates differently, we recommend you review the details below carefully and confirm your recertification, training, and compliance requirements with your relevant national or state authorities.

UMBC Critical Care
- Fire Engineering Training/JEMS Training has 35 CAPCE-accredited courses that are accepted by the University of Baltimore Maryland (UMBC). These courses can be used towards the renewal of the Critical Care Emergency Medical Transport Program (CCEMTP). A transcript of course completions applicable to CCEMTP can be exported on demand and sent to UMBC along with renewal paperwork.
CAPCE
- Fire Engineering Training and JEMS Training are organizationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) under the name Clarion Events, Inc. CAPCE is accepted in all states except New Jersey and Virginia.
Florida
- Approved Educational Provider by Florida Department of Health.
Kentucky
- Approved Training Provider by Kentucky Community and Technical College System.
New Jersey
- Approved by New Jersey DOH, Office of Emergency Medical Services.
Pennsylvania

Approved by Pennsylvania DOH for Continuing Education. (Specific approved courses on below list)

Course completions are reported to Pennsylvania DOH one week before the end of each quarter. Courses taken during the last week of a quarter will be reported in the next quarter.
Texas
