Christopher Hunter, MD, PhD, FACEP, is the Director of the Health Services Department for Orange County, Florida, providing administrative oversight to eight different divisions including indigent medical care, corrections health services, mental health and homelessness, and the Office of the EMS Medical Director. He holds the title of Associate Medical Director for the Orange County EMS System, a consolidated group of fire rescue and ambulance services, providing medical direction to over 2,000 pre-hospital providers. He is also faculty at the Orlando Regional Medical Center Emergency Medicine residency program, and the Medical Director of the Orlando Health Air Care Team. He is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services.
