The Emergency Management Institute developed the Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response, ICS 200 course in collaboration with the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG), the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the U.S. Fire Administration's National Fire Programs Branch. And the United States Coast Guard (USCG). This course follows NIMS guidelines and meets the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Baseline Training requirements for ICS 200. This course is a part of the series of ICS courses designed to meet the all-hazards, all-agency NIMS ICS requirement for operational personnel.
